Permissions and Data Usage:

ColorLink requires some permissions from your Google™ account to function. We use a secure process called OAuth2, which allows us to access some data of your Google™ account without ever seeing your account's password. Your privacy is important to us; the add-on collects only the minimum necessary information to operate and does not use any AI models or collect data for the purposes of training those models.

We're committed to protecting your privacy. Our free tier operates without collecting any personal data. For premium features, we only require your email address, which is used exclusively to provide those premium features. Your email is stored in an access-controlled database and is only accessible to a limited number of authorized personnel. We do not share user data with any third parties and any data transmitted between your account and ColorLink is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. Users can request deletion of their data by contacting us at support@indycloudpros.com or by canceling their premium subscription via our customer portal.

We adhere strictly to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements. Below are the required permission to operate the addon, along with the justifications for requesting these permissions.

Run as calendar add-on: allows ColorLink to be accessed in your calendar's sidebar.

View and edit events: is needed to alter the color of calendar events

See any calendar you can access: allows ColorLink to function on all of your calendars

View email metadata: is needed to identify invitation emails for event coloring based on Gmail™ label colors

Connect to external service: connects to our premium database so we can provide premium services

Run when you're not present: is needed so events can be colored automatically while you're away

Country, language, and timezone: are used for addon accessibility

Third-Party Payment Processor

For users who choose to upgrade to ColorLink Premium, we utilize Stripe™, a third-party payment processor, to securely process transactions. Stripe™ collects and processes certain information required for payment processing, including your name, email address, payment details, and billing address. We do not directly collect or store any of this sensitive payment information. Stripe's data collection and privacy practices are governed by their own Privacy Policy.
